When my Mother died in 2007 I became the keeper of her picture box. Not albums, but a big box stuffed with loose photos and sleeves of negatives. The only real attempt at organization was to put photos of certain trips or events into their own separate envelopes. She did not include the negatives for those photos in the same envelope, those went into a different envelope, just for negatives. Nothing was labeled, no chronology or descriptions. Nothing.
I have put off the task of sorting, labeling, scanning, etc. for over 7 years. Until now.
Today I have begun what will be a project for my spare time. I cleaned and scanned one envelope full of black and white, 127 film negatives. I remember the camera that took these, a Kodak Brownie. The exact dates of the images are not known, but I am approximately two years old in some of the pictures so the year is probably 1965.
Enjoy a few family photos of my sister Terri and my parents at Disneyland.
