Four weeks in and I am really enjoying this 52 Rolls project. I have been making some time to get downtown to walk around areas that I usually miss. The beauty of living near Los Angeles is that there are so many different areas within a short drive.
This week’s roll was shot with my workhorse Leica M2 and 50mm Summicron, Tri-X @400 and developed in HC-110. If I had no choice, only one camera and lens, one film and one developer, this combo would likely be my choice. The M2 is solid, fully mechanical, bulletproof and one of the nicest looking cameras ever made in my opinion. My Summicron is small and fast and produces images that I enjoy. Using HC-110 to develop Tri-X is as comfortable as it gets for me. And again, I like the results.
Here are a few of the images that I made. Enjoy.
