Becki and I met some friends for breakfast this morning. We decide to try a new place downtown called Nickel Diner. We didn’t choose it solely because of the maple bacon donuts, but it sure didn’t hurt.
After a great breakfast we walked around the corner to Spring Street and browsed around The Last Book Store. I found an excellent copy of a Kenny Burrell album called Guitar Forms for $6.99. If nothing else happened the whole day I would still consider it a big success.
A short walk from the book store is the Grand Central Market on Broadway. Becki had never been there so I wanted her to see it.
These are a few images that I made of our day downtown. I used my Leica MP with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 ltm lens and used Tri-X @ 400 and developed in HC110 1+49.
