We are all settled in our rental house near Deep Cove in North Vancouver. Becki had a difficult time finding this place. Actually, she was having difficulty finding anything suitable. It seems there is a very real shortage of rental property around here, especially when you throw in the fenced yard for two dogs requirement. But, she found a nice place for us. The house is in an upscale neighborhood, with walking paths and parks close by. It is only a half mile or so to the village of Deep Cove. That means it’s only a half mile to Honey’s Donuts. That is worth it alone.
I went for a little exploratory drive/walk the other day and found a nice area to walk along the water. The stretch of beach is lined with beautiful private homes, each with a long dock and boat houses.
I brought my Leica MP along on this walk. Here is a photo to give an idea of the beauty of the area. I am looking forward to many more hikes and photo opportunities in the coming months.
