I’ve always been a beach person. I grew up in the valley, east of Los Angeles, but as early as I can remember, I loved to be by the ocean.
As a kid and into my college years, I mostly hung out in Orange County. Surfing and playing volleyball in Huntington Beach, sailing out of Newport Beach Harbor and scuba diving at Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach. Now we live in Hermosa Beach and don’t get down south that much, but every so often a road trip to Laguna is in order.
So, we loaded Bella into the Jeep, grabbed a camera and some water and hit the 405 south. A short (by Los Angeles standards) two hours later we had found a parking spot near Main Beach in Laguna.
