#FP4+Party

There is another FP4+ Party going on on Twitter this month. The first week is shoot week, followed by a week for developing and the third week is for posting your images.

I don’t usually participate in these things, but I decided to give it a try this time. I took a few hours during shoot week to drive south to the Port of Los Angeles, stopping in a few places along the way to take some photos.

Overall, I do like a few of the images. What I am more impressed with is the combination of FP4 and HC-110 developer. The negatives turned out perfectly. Just to my liking, with good contrast and detail everywhere. Perfect for scanning. After the develop week I bought 25 more rolls from Freestyle Photo. In an area like Southern CA, where the sun is almost always bright, this 125 ISO film works exceptionally well.

I cannot say enough about my Medalist camera. The lens on that beast is truly remarkable. I plan on holding on to this camera forever.

Here are a number of the images from the two rolls of Ilford FP4+ shot during December.

All of these images were taken with my Kodak Medalist II and developed for 11:00 in HC-110 at a dilution of 1+49.
