The long weeks are rolling into longer months and I find myself fighting boredom and apathy when it comes to photography. I have rolls of film to develop and scan and many prints to make, but I’ve been putting it all off.
Friday night I decided to stop procrastinating and make some Platinum Palladium prints. I dug out some 6×7 negatives, scanned them, and made 8×10 digital negatives. I printed them the next morning on 11×14 Hahnemühle Platinum Rag paper.
The prints dried overnight and I am happy with the results. Being able to hold and enjoy the final print at the end of the entire process is what makes me want to continue with photography.
These five prints are a small step in the right direction.
Very nice!
Thank you!
Fantastic! I haven’t printed anything for a long time… But I wish I could. There’s only so much time.
Thank you!
I needed to make something. Something tangible.
These are great.
Thanks, Colin!
