One of the last things that I need is another camera.
I wasn’t looking for one and I didn’t want one. Then I ran across this review on the Emulsive website. It didn’t even read the whole article before I started an eBay search.Β I was hooked by the first image, a beauty shot of the camera itself.
After finally reading the Emulsive article and then spending a few hours going deep down the YouTube rabbit hole of camera reviews, I was not deterred. So, I went shopping.
A few weeks later I have my own Zenza Bronica S2A with a Nikkor 75mm f/2.8 lens and two film backs. I returned the first kit I found to Japan since it was not actually “near mint”, but was able to find another black chrome beauty that fully checked out.
These are some of the test shots to check focus, shutter speed accuracy, film spacing, etc.
All of the above photos are shot on Bergger Pancro 400, developed in XTOL (1+1).
