Guilt has gotten the better of me. I’ve been neglecting my favorite digital camera body, my M Monochrom.
This weekend I blew off the dust and attached my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. I carried it to the Pasadena City College Flea Market and for a couple of nice walks around the neighborhood.
Time and technology keep advancing and I’ve had this body for an eternity in the digital camera world, well over three years. Leica has a new version of the Monochrom body out now. More megapixels, more features, a different sensor. I’m not tempted in the least. This is one of the few cameras that I’ve truly connected with and I plan to use it until it just refuses to function any longer.
